CMA Healthcare provides in-home care services for aged adults, adults with disabilities, and individuals with developmental disabilities in Broward County. Services are based on individual needs and objectives to support safety, comfort, and independence at home.

Who We Assist

Our services go beyond elderly care. We support aged adults, adults with disabilities, and individuals with developmental disabilities.

Conditions we commonly support include

Alzheimer’s and dementia, cognitive impairment, brain and spinal cord injuries, functional decline, chronic physical illness, Parkinson’s disease, autism, cerebral palsy, and intellectual disabilities.

Personal Care Assistance

Hands-on support with daily routines to help individuals stay safe and comfortable at home. Includes support with:

Respite Care

Temporary support when a primary caregiver is unavailable. Respite services can be arranged for short-term needs or scheduled support. Includes:

Short-term care coverage at home and flexible scheduling

Temporary relief for family caregivers

Support aligned with the individual’s care plan with reliable supervision and routine care

Skilled Nursing Care

Skilled nursing services are provided by qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) based on care needs and physician directives. Nursing support is coordinated with the care team to promote safe, consistent care.

Private Duty and Live-in Care

Private duty care and live-in options are available based on individual needs and objectives. CMA Healthcare can help coordinate schedules that support continuity of care and peace of mind.

Programs and Payment Options

CMA Healthcare serves individuals in Broward County enrolled in the Florida Medicaid Long-term Care Program, also called the Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Long-term Care (SMMC LTC) Program. CMA Healthcare works with Sunshine Health Plan, Humana, and Simply Healthcare. We also accept long-term care insurance and private pay.

Our support professionals meet competency standards required by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), the Department of Elder Affairs, and the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). CMA Healthcare works closely with case managers, waiver support coordinators, families, and case management agencies to ensure each individual receives the best possible support.
